Antique Louis XV Pocket Watch Hands – Purple Blued Steel – Mixed Restoration Lot

Mixed lot of antique pocket watch hands in an ornate Louis XV / fleur-de-lis style, from old watchmaker’s stock.

The hands feature a fine elongated profile with decorative openworked fleur-de-lis / trefoil-shaped detailing near the pointed tip. The lot contains assorted lengths, shapes and mounting-hole sizes, making it useful for restoration work, parts matching or workshop stock.

One of the most attractive characteristics is the finish. In normal light many of the hands appear very dark brown or almost black, while under stronger or angled lighting they can reveal a deep purple, violet or blue tone.
